The old small structure next to the typical Normandy house was redesigned to welcome a lap pool. Originally used as a secondary carpark and storage for wood, the narrow and long plan was ideal to fit in a very modern stainless steel swimming pool. The rustic nature of the stone wall and the wooden fenestration are already existing. The openings are closed by steel framed glazing. And the pool is ended with an open fire place that heats up both the space and the ambiance. The contem-porary designer made chandeliers are choosen for the warm lights up this old yet new addition to the main house.
